    These are actually UNIVERSITY brand horns. University was owned by Altec.

    They were really great for high-quality paging/public address applications.

    Actually, they're University horns relabeled after Altec bought them out. They were for PA, with or without a bass horn. Here's probably their most popular use, the Classic: http://www.geocities.com/loudspeakerguru/hilo-1.jpg

    Hi guys, hope you all had a safe NewYears. I came across ALTEC COBRAFLEX EXPONENTIAL FOLDED HORNS on EBay this morning and was wondering what they are used for. Anybody know of these?
